Now that the site is up and running, albeit far from finished, I will use this Blog page for occasional updates. So let me first take the opportunity to thank Emily Van Alterman for help with the memorial video, and to highly recommend that everyone send a child, grandchild or anyone you can to film school! After creating the video I did a modest editing job using software for dilettantes like myself, uploaded it, and found that the file format was not easily compatible with this kind of web site. I appealed to Emily, who edits videos with more facility than most people spread butter. She improved the visuals and the sound quality, the titles and quotes, and sent it all back in a format that played without a hitch. Many thanks!
